A living RomCom herself, Lauren Litt is ready to narrate your HEA to life. Her natural curly hair, impish smile and best-friend-dishing-on-the-phone voice bring warmth and substance to your novel.
It all started in high school when she was cast as Juliet opposite her real-life boyfriend. How romantic. The drama, the angst, the beauty of the balcony speech all called to her and she knew that a life in the theatre is where she belonged. Of course, like any good RomCom, her high school boyfriend didn’t make it past chapter one of her love life. But that freed her up to move to New York City right after high school. There she auditioned for Broadway shows, worked in a theatre company and found a dead mouse in her fifth floor walk up. Ew.
After realizing that at 19 she had no discernible life skills, other than her love of the theatre and excellent work ethic, she returned home to Sacramento, California where she quickly found success in film. Her very first role was in The Retrievers, which starred, none other than the iconic Betty White. A move to LA came soon after where both her career and love-life jumped into high gear.
After a series of disappointing (and hilarious) romances she finally found her own happily ever after when she met Giorgio (yes, he IS Italian 😉). Their first date was a picture perfect picnic atop Griffith Park. Lauren knew instantly she was in trouble when she saw Giorgio waiting for her in the park with his dashing good looks, atop a red plaid blanket with a jet boil to make her tea. Two years later he proposed in that same spot.
Lauren has trained for over 2 decades as a professional actress including work in Improv and Comedy Writing. She currently lives in sunny Portland, Oregon with her hubby, 2 fur babies and a vegetable garden. Her natural comedic rhythm and thorough understanding of love bring joy, heartbreak, laughter and friendship to each happily ever after she narrates.
